Mr. Goyen worked for the insurance industry handling claims starting in 1989.  He received his law license in 1997 and has been practicing a practicing lawyer in Texas ever since. Including his 7 years as an insurance adjuster, he has incurred over 2 decades of experience in handling injury cases in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.  Mr. Goyen's experience working in the insurance industry has provided him a useful insider's knowledge of how these companies operate and handle injury cases as well as how they treat those involved in accidents.  After years in the industry, Mr. Goyen decided he wanted to represent those who find themselves up against the insurance companies.  Since 1997 he has handled countless personal injury, wrongful death, auto injury, 18 wheeler injury, premises liability, slip and fall, and any variety of cases involving wrongful acts that harm or damage another person.  Mr. Goyen handles these cases through settlement and/or trial.

In addition, Mr. Goyen handles criminal cases such as; DWI (Driving While Intoxicated, DUI (Driving Under Influence), DWLS (Driving With License Suspended), Occupational Licenses, Drug Cases, Theft, Assaults, and other Misdemeanors and Felonies.  Mr. Goyen began working criminal cases as a Student at SMU Law School in the Criminal Clinic.  He continued to handle criminal cases upon graduation and up to the present.  He has brought hundreds of these cases to conclusion and to the satisfaction of his clients.

Mr. Goyen belongs to the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, State Bar of Texas, Christian Trial Lawyers Association, Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.  He is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas by the State Bar of Texas.  He earned his Juris Doctor  and graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas in 1997.  Mr. Goyen also earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, graduating Summa Cum Laude at The University of Texas in Dallas in 1994.
